Bustard Rock Lighthouses on Georgian Bay
Posted on June 15, 2007

These lighthouses were my goal for the trip. We tried to visit them twice, but the first time my friend, Steve, didn’t feel like paddling in the dark in the building waves, which just at twilight were building to shoulder height and they were building fast.

The next day was beautiful, so we went over in the morning and checked them out.

This is the main light and now the only functional building. It is fully automated.

And Steve messing around.
