Join the alumni Facebook group

After the workshop, you’re invited to a private Facebook group for workshop alumni. It’s a fun, supportive community of former students where you can share photos, get feedback, keep in touch with other photographers from your workshop, and ask questions. Make sure to answer all the questions to be approved.

Share your feedback

Your feedback helps me improve my workshops and tailor them to your needs. Please fill out the workshop feedback form (link in the post-workshop email), or email me any comments or suggestions.

Share a testimonial

If you have a testimonial, I’d love to feature it on my website. Include your first name and hometown in your email, since that’s how I display them. I’d also like to post up to five of your photos with it. Please send photos at 1000 pixels on the long edge, in the sRGB color space, as JPEGs.

Spread the word

Word of mouth is the best way to spread the word about my workshops. If you had a great time and learned a lot, please tell friends and colleagues who are interested in photography. You can also post about your experience and show off your photos on social media. Tag me @bryanhansel on Instagram or Threads or @bryan_hansel_photography on Facebook. Priority alumni workshop registration

You’re now an alumnus of a Bryan Hansel Photo Workshop. Congratulations and Thank You!

Each year, alumni and Facebook subscribers get priority registration two days before general registration begins. A limited number of seats are reserved for this period, and the remaining spots open to the public when general registration starts. Alumni are also welcome to register during the public phase.

Alumni registration usually happens in April. The exact dates are announced in the More or Less About the Photo newsletter.
