Northern Landscapes Calendar 2017
My Northern Landscapes 2017 Calendar is now available for purchase.
This year was a difficult one for me. I’ve been traveling so much that I haven’t shot much in northern Minnesota. That made it easier to pick photos, because there were fewer, but it also made it harder to select photos because they were fewer to pick from. My biggest disappointment was not having an amazing shot for October, but just before I put together this year’s calendar, I shot one of the best sunrises that I’ve witnessed from the Caribou Rock Trail overlooking West Bearskin Lake.
For those of you that have bought my calendars in the past, you’ll notice some of the similar themes and locations. I have shots from both The Tombolo and The Rock, my two favorite islands. This year I also included a shot of the moon rising over the palisades on Clearwater Lake — that echoes my February 2015 choice which was taken in the same location of the same subject. It amazes me how different they are!
I’m extremely happy with this year’s selections. There’s a good mix of subject and colors and they all someone mesh together to make a cohesive whole. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
I’ve decided to make Lulu my exclusive distributor this year again, because they do such a good job at printing, shipping and taking the orders. They also have excellent customer service. I buy my calendars from them, too, so I’ll be stocking up for Christmas gifts as well.
They sometimes offer coupon codes, so check RetailMeNot before you buy to see if they have any running.
