Learn Panoramic Photography to Capture the Milky Way Photo Workshop

This workshop combines night photography and panoramic photography together. You’ll learn how to photograph panoramic images during the day and learn how to photograph the Milky Way at night. Assuming the conditions cooperate, you’ll then combine the two types of photography to produce a panoramic image of the Milky Way. Cook County is one of the darkest areas in the lower 48. Combine the dark sky with the stunning Lake Superior landscape and inland lakes and scenery, and it makes for one of the premiere night photography destinations in the world.

Description

Because this workshop involves instruction on multiple topics, having knowledge in one of the topics before the workshop will be helpful.

Note on equipment: you will need at minimum a nodal rail and pano rotator of some variety. A 20mm or 24mm focal length is easier to stitch than wider lenses. It will be helpful to have a laptop or other device that can run Lightroom to stitch panoramic images.
