Deposits and Payments
Early payments confirm your space on a workshop or your time slot during a sitting. Multi-day workshops and sittings are not considered booked until I receive either the required deposit or the full payment. Full payment for multi-day workshops are due 30 days before the workshop’s start date.
On short notice, call ahead, because I may have space.
Note: Workshops run through the North House Folk School have different cancellation policies. When you register ask about it.
Multi-day Workshop Cancellation Policy
Unless the space can be filled by someone on the waiting list, the entire workshop fee is forfeited. If it can be filled, you’ll receive a refund minus the deposit. The deposit can be applied to another class taken within a year of the original workshop date.
Workshops go out in all weather conditions such as but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, cool temperatures, hot temperatures or fog. Bad weather is not a reason for cancellation.
If I cancel the workshop, I’ll do everything I can to reschedule, but if I’m unable to accommodate you, you are eligible for a full refund on workshops that I cancel. Refunds may take up to 4 to 6 weeks to process. Bryan Hansel Photography is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets or other travel expenses in the event of a workshop cancellation. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
One-on-one and Small Group Workshop Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a one-on-one and small group workshops up to 15 days before the trip and receive a refund minus $50 per person. Any cancellations with less than 15 days of advanced notice are non-refundable, but may be applied to another workshop taken within a year. The weather around Lake Superior is dynamic, and if I determine it’s too bad, we may change locations or reschedule. Workshops go out in all weather conditions. You may cancel a sitting up to 10 days before the scheduled date and receive a refund minus $50. Any cancellations with less than 10 days of advanced notice are non-refundable, but may be applied to another sitting taken within a year. Fitness and Medical
You are responsible for determining your fitness for any trip. If you have any medical conditions that require regular treatment or that is affected by activity, weather, foods, natural conditions, you must notify me in advance of the trip. Medical disclosure forms are available upon request. Please, understand, that Bryan Hansel Photography assumes no liability for medical care. Bryan Hansel Photography makes the ultimate determination of your fitness to embark upon or to continue a trip. Medical conditions are not considered exceptions to the cancellation policy. Bryan Hansel Photography is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Changes to the Registration and Cancellation Policies
