The sky turns shades of pink on a winter morning at the Tombolo. Lake Superior, Minnesota.
For this morning’s sunrise I went to The Tombolo — and it occurs to me that with water levels closer to normal instead of low on Lake Superior that the tombolo is no longer a tombolo; it’s more of an island now. This is a 1 minute exposure and the sea smoke on the lake was drifting around and made the water look even more soft than it would normally. It was cold this morning at -16°F when I left my house. What a great winter so far!
