The Grand Marais area on Lake Superior has two fall color seasons. The early one usually happens during the last weekend of September, which is when this workshop is planned. The other cool fall event is the fall mushroom bloom. On this workshop, you'll learn macro photography techniques that will help you capture pictures of mushroom and fungus and other tiny items that get overlooked during the fall. In addition to field techniques, we'll also explore focus stacking to achieve a sharp picture across the entire frame. Using mushrooms as an excuse to get outside, you also have a chance to photograph the fall color. This is going to be a fun getaway!
