Guide snowshoeing across a lake

Winter guide, Adam Harju, snowshoeing across a pool of the Cascade River near the BWCA. This great snowshoe route starts on Cascade Lake at the boat ramp. It continues by following the Cascade River, which starts at the NE corner of the lake, until the Cascade Crosses The Grade. The route requires some bush wacking when the river narrows, but overall, it’s a easy four hour jaunt. Total Miles: 5 exactly.

You’ll see plenty of moose, wolf, otter and animal tracks.
