I’m not a sky photographer (except at night). I get so interested in what is on the ground in front of me that I often leave just a sliver of sky in my photos. On Sunday morning, the clouds in the sky were great. So great that they caught my attention more than the ground. After I finished up my mainly ground orientated shots, I switched to photograph mainly the sky. What a great sky above the big lake.
In this shot, you can just make out part of a 22° halo around the sun. I took another angle on The Rock and all the clouds seem to point right towards it. I’ll post that one soon.
