Hotel Sitting

We’re hotel sitting right now at the Tomteboda while the owners are in England, the place of my birth. Last night, during the snow, I went out to shovel the snow, but got side tracked and built three large snowpeople. The owners dog, Thor, and I were playing catch the snowball. He got a couple and as I leaned down to pick up the next ball, the dog started running at me. At full speed our heads hit. I played with the dog for about an other hour, and when I went inside, Ilena freaked out. My face was covered in blood. After cleaning up I noticed the wound wasn’t bad, but we couldn’t find any first aid in the house, so Ilena tried several stores in town to find a butterfly closure strip. She found one in a cheapy $1.99 first aid kit. But because the wound is just above my eye, I couldn’t get the closure to work. I ended up just using a bandaid. This one’s going to leave a scar.
