Skiing the BWCA
One of the major difficulties of spend time outdoors alone is being able to capture action shots. Thirty seconds just isn’t enough time to press the trigger, get into action, and take a picture. Here’s an attempt from last week’s 16km ski in the Boundary Waters. I spent a few hours skiing from Bearskin, out to the Long Portage, across Rose, up the stairway portage, and then back to Bearskin. Great ski. I did find snowmobile tracks in the BWCA and took pictures. That’s breaking the law.
